About The Show
Synopsis
Marriage. Family. Secrets. Laughs. All in 90 hilarious minutes.
Meet Diana Katzman, the eager-to-please wife of Aaron Katzman. Aaron has decided (on the questionable advice of his self-help guru) that he wants a divorce. Caught off guard, Diana doesn’t take the news well. Their grown son is experimenting with polyamory. And Aaron’s elderly parents are suddenly spilling secrets that make everyone wish they’d stayed quiet. It’s one wild family meltdown—filled with love, laughs, and a few life lessons along the way. Bursting with sharp wit and heart, this fast-paced 90-minute comedy proves that no matter how messy things get, family always finds a way to stick together… sort of.
Art of Leaving is debuting Off-Broadway at The Pershing Square Signature Center and stars Audrey Heffernan Meyer (Diana), Jordan Lage (Aaron), Alan Ceppos (Felix), Pamela Shaw (Esther), Molly Chiffer (Caitlyn), and Brian Mason (Jason); it was written by Anne Marilyn Lucas and is directed by Matt Gehring.
